About WoW Builds Forever

WoW Builds Forever is a fan-made planner for WoW Forever. Use the talent calculator, read every class's spellbook, and publish your builds with a guide so other players can vote for the best ones.

Where the data comes from

The talent trees, talent text and spellbooks come from the WoW Forever beta client. They're taken from talentsforever.com's free data export, used under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 licence and converted to this site's format. Data last updated 2026-11-03. Blizzard can change talents at any time, and builds published before a change are flagged on their page.

Game content

WoW Builds Forever is a fan site and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Blizzard Entertainment. World of Warcraft, WoW, and all related game names, text, images and artwork (including talent and spell text, icons, talent backgrounds and the official roadmap) are trademarks or copyrights of Blizzard Entertainment. They're used here for fan and informational purposes, to help players plan and share builds.

The News page shares Blizzard's own posts from the official World of Warcraft forums (blue posts and developer notes) and embeds videos from the official World of Warcraft YouTube channel, always with a link to the original. Our TL;DR summaries are a quick guide; Blizzard's original post is always the final word.

House rules

  • Publish builds you'd actually play. Joke builds are fine if they're labelled.
  • No hate, harassment or spam in build titles or guides.
  • One account per person, and no vote trading.
  • Support the Creator links must be your own honest affiliate, Patreon, Ko-fi or similar links. No scams, gold-selling, account-selling, cheats, or anything that breaks Blizzard's terms.

We may remove builds or accounts that break these rules.

Privacy

  • Account: we store your username, email address and a scrambled (hashed) version of your password. Your email is never shown publicly, and we only use it for your account (e.g. password resets) unless you choose to get our emails.
  • Email updates (optional): if you tick "Email me WoW Forever news…" when you sign up, or click Subscribe on your account page, we'll send you occasional news, guides and site updates. We note when you said yes. To send these, your email address and username are shared with our email service, AWeber. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also unsubscribe on your account page at any time. We never sell your details.
  • Cookies: one keeps you logged in and one protects forms from forgery. There are no tracking or advertising cookies right now.
  • Fonts: the heading lettering is loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google to fetch it. Google receives your IP address as part of that request.
  • Videos: YouTube videos use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, and News shows video thumbnails from YouTube's image server, so your browser connects to YouTube (Google) to load them.
  • Rate limits: to stop spam, we keep a scrambled code made from your IP address for up to a day. We don't store the address itself.
  • Deleting: you can delete your builds any time. To delete your account, contact us.
