Elemental Shaman Caster

A Lightning Overload Elemental build for ranged damage in dungeons and raids.

Rotation

• Lightning Bolt is your main spell.
• Keep Flame Shock up on longer fights.
• Use Earth Shock to interrupt or for burst.
• Chain Lightning costs a lot, so save it for packs or for Lightning Mastery, which removes its cooldown.

Why it hits hard

Lightning Overload gives every bolt a chance of a free copy, and Elemental Fury doubles your crit bonus.

Mana

Convection, Elemental Focus, Water Shield and Mana Spring Totem. Downrank Lightning Bolt when you're running low.

See the Shaman class guide for more.
